Kāpura’s Airport sites are looking for Duty Managers to help lead the team!

Kāpura owns and operates 5 venues at Wellington Airport:

• The Blue Lady – an American Diner themed venue, serving top-notch burgers and cabinet food
• United Brew’d Works – a perfect venue to enjoy a beverage and snack before your flight
• Fortune Favours Pop-Up – serving locally brewed beers & ciders
• Percivals – Your coffee stop when you’re on the go!
• Lil Rosie’s – Our newest venues! Californian street food and frozen margaritas – The ultimate party bar!

We need Duty Managers who are happy with early starts and keen to work at all airport venues!

As a Duty Manager your role is to run the establishment on a shift by shift basis, reporting directly into your Venue Manager. Your primary role is to be a fantastic host to our customers and the local community.

Key requirements for the role include:

• Ideally 2 years hospitality experience in a vibrant, fast-paced restaurant
• Current, valid LCQ & Manager’s certificate
• Be able to do early starts (often as early as 5.00am)
• A good understanding of opening/closing venues & cashing up
• Experience managing and leading a team
• Ideally experience in company wide systems such as SynergySuite, ResDiary and Onetap or similar systems
• Competency on the bar & floor
• Good food & beverage knowledge and high focus on customer experiences
• To be great at building relationships with customers and team members
• To be comfortable under pressure
