This is a key role that will develop, refine, and execute the target state vision for enabling various Data related capabilities and products within Merchant Services.
This individual contributor role reports to the Head of the Payments Orchestration and Data workstream. Candidate will lead initiatives focused on enabling Data Management & Governance, System of Record, Reporting and Analytics, and more.
In this role, you will:
Develop the strategy for the Data workstream and related capabilities within Merchant Services; includes identifying, understanding, and evaluating emerging trends and needs in this space
Collaborate with other domains to identify and document data use cases and services; design the target state solution
Evaluate current state capabilities (internal and external), best practices, and available technology to support business objectives
Partner closely with internal Technology teams as well as with third parties to evaluate, develop, and or integrate solutions
Oversee the development of new capabilities; leverage agile methodologies to execute; work with third parties as needed; ensure delivery of a high-quality product
Act as an advisor to senior leadership and other domain leaders to develop and influence other digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals
Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the standing up new capabilities, business practices, and controls in this domain
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges in Merchant Services and payment processing that require in-depth evaluation across multiple areas
Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
Coordinate highly complex activities and guidance to others
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise
Serve as an expert advisor to leadership on the Payments Orchestration
Required Qualifications, US:
Desired Qualifications:
2+ prior years of Merchant Services (acquiring) experience or equivalent experience in the payments industry
3+ years of experience focused on the data domain and or managing data products
Experience focused on enabling data through modern capabilities such as APIs, event buses, etc.
Experience standing up and or running a Data Management program; working knowledge of best practices, data models, data extraction tools, etc.
Solid understanding of the types of data and services used to facilitate payment processing as well as experience with data management, extraction, and data visualization methods and tools.
Experience partnering with third parties to develop and deliver new capabilities
Experience building and managing a System of Record
Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI
Knowledge of data warehousing fundamentals
Writing SQL queries to explore and QA data

Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
Ability to travel up to 20% to other locations as needed

Pay Range:
CA- San Francisco: $138,500- $287,600 annually
DE- Wilmington: $126,400-$262,600 annually
TX- McKinney: $120,400- $250,000 annually
May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards.
