The opportunity

This Exciting And Rewarding Role Has The Following Responsibilities

• Responsibility of Council’s Corporate Planning framework, which requires interpretation and reporting of business performance KPI’s across Council as well as its overall improvement plan.
• Overseeing the Project Management methodology, tracking and reporting on projects, together with growing our organisational maturity.
• Operating at a strategic level you will have the opportunity to support the Senior Leadership Team and Elected Members in making efficient and effective decisions and managing the risks involved in a complex multifaceted business in the delivery of a significant operating and capital program of work to our community.
• Support and advise the Senior Leadership Team on commercial opportunities where appropriate.

To Set You Up For Success, You’ll Have

• A Chartered Accountant or Business degree with 5+ years experience with ideally local government or similar experience.
• Proven success in operating in a multi faceted complex environment where things change quickly. Strategic agility and resilience will be a requirement for this role.
• Strong technical accounting or planning skills mixed with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Being a strategic thinker will be a given.
