Wheels On Wheels Transportation LLC Hiring for Driver at Hanover Park, IL Full Time

We are searching for a dependable and responsible individual to join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation driver. The NEMT driver will be responsible for ensuring safe and timely transportation for wheelchair dependent customers to and from destinations including but not limited to doctor’s appointments, dental appointments, birthday parties, facility discharges, church, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

~Transport customers in a safe and timely manner

~Assist patients/customers in getting in and out of the vehicle, including helping with any assistive devices

~Communicate effectively with customers, medical staff, and dispatch

~Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, safe, and in good working condition

~Comply with all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to NEMT transportation

Qualifications:

~High school diploma or GED

~Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

~Ability to pass a background check and drug test

~Ability to lift and assist patients as needed

~Excellent communication and customer service skills

~Some knowledge of medical transportation regulations
