Winger Motors are New Zealand, family owned and have been in business for over 30 years. 

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our Newmarket-based Marketing team to support our network of dealerships and brands. This is a new role to compliment our expanding team, so you’ll need to be ready to sink your teeth in and make it yours, while building your experience in a supportive team and company.

You will be working alongside our Group Marketing Manager and two Marketing and Events Co-Ordinators.

The Role:

• Work closely with the Marketing and Events Co-Ordinators to align marketing activity 
• Responsible for monitoring all social platforms, including website
• Updating website with new models, deals and news
• Checking on enquiries, leads and comments
• Loading posts and ads based on the monthly campaign calendar for all brands
• Monthly reporting of all social channels and eDM activity
• Grow our online following through targeted campaigns
• An integral support to the Marketing team, including events
• Attendance and maximising the Winger brand at sponsorship events
• Responsible for updating the registry of all Winger Merchandise with sponsors

Skills & Experience:

• Ideally you are a recent graduate with a Marketing degree, or have previous marketing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in paid social media marketing tools advantageous.
• Previous Industry experience a real bonus but not essential.
• Have a natural creative flair.
• A positive team member who loves to get stuck in.
