Winston Retail Solutions Hiring for Store Manager (FILA) at Aurora, Illinois Full Time

Calling all sneaker fans and experienced retail managers! FILA is growing and launching their 4th physical retail store. As the Store Manager, you be part of the team to build this amazing location from the ground up. Working with both FILA and Winston Retail Managers, the Store Manager will be responsible for day to day operations, managing a team of people, and working to drive sales everyday.

We are looking for a inspirational leader who expands and deepens a team’s unwavering commitment to providing the best customer service to drive sales, while representing the iconic FILA brand!

Key Responsibilities:

• Promoting a culture that strongly represents the FILA brand

• Setting the pace of superior customer service with consumer engagement, product education, and clean store environment for a seamless customer experience

• Ensuring operational excellence by following opening and closing procedures are met each day per Winston Retail operational procedures

• Exhibiting superior communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ongoing training of Sales Ambassadors of product features and benefits

• Complete daily store visit report for Winston Management and review opportunities and suggestions to drive sales

• Elevating staffing/personnel concerns to the Winston Regional Manager – Retail as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of management experience within a department, specialty, or retail store

• Ability to convert customers into sales with a passion and spark

• Carry a friendly, energetic, personable demeanor and have a passion for great customer service, with a customer- first and quality- focused mentality

• Goal driven, with an ability to multi-task and problem solve

• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to train sales ambassadors on product attributes and brand principles

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, and email and digital photography)

• Strong work ethic; reliable and committed for the full duration of the project

• Smartphone device for reporting purposes — Android OS 8.0 or higher/Apple iOS 8.0 or higher, with ability to keep phone’s OS up to date

• Ability to download and install an app on your smart phone, and upload reports via the app

• Ability to lift to 25 pounds and stand on feet entire shift

• Available to work a flexible retail schedule, which include mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours, and holidays (as necessary)
