This position will serve as a member of the management team and communicate directly to the CEO. This role will include communication regarding system implementation and improvement. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and excellent at troubleshooting. Candidates should be self -driven to learn new software and forward thinking for their implementation.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Bookkeeping practices and generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
• Basic HR/payroll systems
• Demonstrate initiative and ingenuity
• Ability to automate or improve systems
• Ability to read business financial reports
• Analytical skills and an eye for details
• Quickbooks experience or equivalent
• Skilled with Microsoft Excel
• Capable of working independently
• Able to maintain professional confidentiality
• Familiarity with ERP solution SuccessWare beneficial but not required

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage basic accounts payable
• Financial data entry
• Ensure that financial systems function smoothly
• Generate financial reports
• Enter payroll information for processing
• Liaison between ownership, accounting agency and financial institutions
• Potential for travel to Minneapolis 1-2 times per month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 per year
