About us
We set up as the Woodspeen group in 2007 with the clear aim of creating a UK vocational training business to address the skills challenge within the UK. We provide a wide range of apprenticeships, skills and vocational programmes, both Government sponsored and privately funded. We have grown organically and through a number of successful, long established businesses, all of which share in the group’s ethos. Our local brands include A&R Training Services, S&S Training Services, BDTS and Christopher Paul. In fact, many of our brands have been established for well over 20 years. We have an increasing number of permanent training centres across the United Kingdom. Our centres include Huddersfield, Bradford and Stockport Our range of Apprenticeships is extensive and includes Health & Social Care, Business and Administration, Customer Service, Team Leading, Management IT, Childcare, Hairdressing & Barbering, Pharmacy and Optical Retail. We have delivered most of these programmes over many years giving us depth and breadth of expertise. We also have expertise in classroom based accredited training in short courses such as Childrens Mental Health, Mental Health First Aid and LGBT Inclusion to name a few aswell as supporting people with English and Maths through Functional Skills.
Job Summary
To support Project Management Apprentice’s to enhance their Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours within their learning programme or apprenticeship. To support in the delivery of staff training sessions. To design course work for new standards within your areas of expertise.
To carry a case load of learners and ensure they are progressing through their learning programme, ensuring that learners receive assessment, structured teaching, Functional Skills support, CognAssist assessments for LSF support, and reviews that are required as part of an Apprenticeship programme. All of which is to be delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
You will also be required to enrol new learners on to learning programmes, carryout teaching, learning and assessment, support learners with preparation for End Point Assessment and complete exit paperwork/ provide IAG on further learning opportunities.
Key Accountabilities:
Main Tasks:
§ Carry out learner assessments within area of occupational competence
§ Deliver Functional Skills to learners.
§ Deliver underpinning knowledge and carry out learner observations as required as part of their learning programmes.
§ Carry out regular learner reviews to maintain ESFA compliance and to ensure that learners complete their learning programme on or before the planned funding end date.
§ To carry out any administrative work associated with the learning programmes that the Company delivers, such as completing learner documentation that is required as part of funding compliance.
§ Maintain regular contact with learners and employers within your area (caseload).
§ Contact employers and learners and arrange a suitable and convenient time for enrolments, assessments and reviews (any type of visit must be arranged in advance).
§ Carry out initial assessment, including additional learning and social needs, of learners and completion of associated paperwork (endorsements and sign up paperwork).
§ Learner induction and completion of associated paperwork.
§ To provide support to learners in centre on a one to one and group basis in a non teaching capacity.
§ To perform such other duties as reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.
Administration:
§ Update and maintain relevant IT Systems.
§ Monitor learners within your area of responsibility.
§ Liaise with outside agencies with regard to learners within your area of responsibility.
§ Ensure that you are up to date with ESFA funding rules.
§ Quality assure all administrative documentation in your area of responsibility to an auditable standard with the Awarding Body and ESFA in conjunction with the Group Head of Quality.

e. To support the Company in ensuring compliance with the requirements of the GDPR.
