We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for Science. The successful candidate will be an inspirational subject teacher with initiative, good communication skills and a willingness to contribute as part of an outstanding Science team. The appointee will be able to teach Science to the full range of abilities at both Key Stage 3 and GCSE. A Physics specialism is preferred but is by no means essential. The successful applicant will receive guidance and support in teaching material that falls outside their specialism. Proper consideration will be given to applicants who are new to the profession as well as to more experienced teachers.
Wrekin College is a busy school set within its own attractive and spacious grounds. A willingness to be fully involved in the school’s co-curricular programme and the whole life of the school is important. This will include Saturday morning activities and an evening boarding duty. Accommodation may be available for the successful candidate.
