This Opportunity

tk1sc, a WSP USA company, is seeking a Commissioning Assistant ocated out Irvine, CA. The tk1sc Commissioning Assistant responsibilities include working closely with the Cx Team and Project Executive to assist with preparation of comprehensive project workflow, including resources, timeframes, and project budgets. The Cx Assistant will perform various coordinating tasks such as scheduling, along with administrative duties. Maintaining project documentation and handling communication and queries between both internal and external project contributors.

Your Impact

• Preparing, formatting and processing Cx Documents (Cx Spec, Cx Plan, Cx Report, Issues Log, etc.)
• Responsible for Cx Alloy, inviting team members to meetings via email
  • Adding team members to Cx Alloy
  • Review Prefunctional Checklist (PFC) status for all projects
  • Download/file contractor files that are uploaded
  • Upload Cx Plan/Cx Spec and other miscellaneous system docs
  • Create file folders for contractors to upload information in
  • Create assets list
  • Prepare Kick-Off meeting sign-in sheet and minutes
• Smartsheet
  • Assist with managing file structure and sheets
  • Backup sheets
  • Create, update and send monthly reports
• Quality Control Proofing
• Email General Contractor for schedule and directory
• Create Prefunctional Checklist (PFC) forms and project drawings.
• LEED online-fill-in Cx-related pre-requisite and credit
• Create project portfolio (via PDF) of closeout package at the end of a project.
• Organize weekly Cx meeting (schedule room, set up gotomeeting and remote desktop)
• Assist with creating email templates (as needed)
• Maintain Cx Manual (quarterly)
• Work with Cx Principal to update project forecasting
• General office admin. tasks, : printing, scanning, photocopying, etc.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports
• Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
• Work with Cx Managing Principal or Directors and update project look ahead
• “Outside of the Box” – Creative thinking for ways to streamline cx process and tasks (utilizing programs/strategies)
• Set up team meetings and take notes
• Create and maintaining project document file storage within the tk1sc standard project directory structure.
• Assist the project team in receiving, filing, distributing, processing, tracking due dates and responding to RFI’s, submittals and responses.

• High School of general education degree (GED)
• 0-1 years of experience in the field.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
• Proficiency with Bluebeam
• Proficiency with cloud-based Commissioning Software is a plus
• Familiarity with Smartsheet is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of cloud-based file sharing platforms such as SharePoint, ShareFile, Newforma, Dropbox, Box, etc. is an advantage.
