WSP is currently initiating a search for a Transportation Lead for our Indianapolis, IN office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee civil engineering staff and projects while collaborating with a variety of project teams
• Support preparation of final design plans, cost estimates and special provisions
• Manage project teams to provide quality delivery on projects of all types and sizes
• Determine client requirements and contribute to the development of scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide guidance and mentor junior staff
• Develop relationships with cilents to achieve WSP’s business development goals

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related field
• 10+ years of professional experience
• PE Certification required
• Good technical writing, analytical and communication skills
• Strong background in developing preliminary and final engineering deliverables.
• Successful project management experience
• Proficiency in Microstation and leading design tasks
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of InRoads software
• Previous record of team leadership
• Experiene collaborating with multiple disciplines on large transporation projects
