POSITION OVERVIEW
Xator is seeking a qualified Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Solutions Project Manager to lead C-UAS integration of original equipment manufacturer components and transformation projects. This role is responsible for end-to-end integration project delivery, leading efforts across multiple departments to achieve tactical and strategic objectives. They will also support system effectiveness analysis, studies, evaluations, and site designs. The ideal candidate will understand technical development, project management, integration, and requirements development. The individual should have the ability to lead strategic initiatives through a combination of oversight and hands-on contribution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Conduct planning and execution of assigned projects through various phases of the project lifecycle, from initial discovery through successful delivery or project hand-off.
Contribute to product development execution/integration, including identifying and presenting opportunities to improve processes and tools.
Identify technology to automate manual work and simplify processes where feasible to create a highly scalable, flexible, and efficient infrastructure
Communicate and work effectively with department leaders and contributors to ensure that key objectives and requirements are defined, a thorough analysis is performed, implementation is completed and validated, and successful rollout.
May lead, plan, and conduct the design and testing phases.
Lead stakeholder interviews and working sessions.
Develop and maintain project plans, internal artifacts, and tools to monitor integration tasks and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Produce reporting against project deliverables, including schedule status, roadblocks, actions, and health matrix.
Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
Communicate clearly with senior-level stakeholders and effectively present solutions
Identify, document, and recommend emerging CUAS technologies that meet the client’s requirements for further evaluation.
Review operational install plans for their impact on performance, reliability, maintainability, availability, quality, safety, and life cycle cost.
Perform document review and editing as required.
Implement and manage a Change Management process for documenting and maintaining situational awareness of hardware and software configurations
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
10+ years of technical experience in a related field can be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience
Candidate must have 7+ years of experience in project management or technology research, development, implementation
Candidate must have 7+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
Experience effectively and professionally communicating technical and program-related information to multiple stakeholders and adhering to established communications plans.
Candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in dynamic, politically sensitive environments ensuring customer expectations are managed.
Must know and experience developing project management plans, communication plans, project budgets and schedules, and identifying and managing risk.
Must demonstrate experience with successfully planning, developing, and implementing projects in terms of cost, schedule, and scope.
Training Requirements
PMP Certification or equivalent experience
Advanced Certified Scrum Master
Specialized Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Candidate will maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills to resolve issues with all stakeholders.
Knowledge of Agile best practices and procedures, project lifecycle, and business analysis
General experience or knowledge of business concepts/processes, CUAS, technology development, and integration.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple dynamic and diverse projects and relationships.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to effectively work within the client’s business environment.
Ability to lead within an agile environment with constantly revolving requirements and support ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work within a team, take the initiative and show strong attention to detail
Ability to create concise decision-supporting analysis while simultaneously presenting the problem and recommended solution.
Ability to take a complex process and turn it into an easy-to-understand context for all levels of expertise
Ability to manage and contribute to multiple small disparate teams resulting in bringing new technologies to the client and the field
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical requirements can include walking, climbing, crawling through small spaces, and standing or sitting for long periods of time.
Must meet the most stringent country medical clearance requirements. The position requires adherence to approved vaccination protocols as determined by location.
