XL Development Ltd Hiring for Construction Worker Job at New Zealand Full Time

NZ Home Tiling Limited is a well-established company since 2017 based in Auckland that expertise working on floors and walls. We are now looking for 5 Construction Workers to join our friendlyand successful team.

This is a permanent full-time role with an immediate start date. You should ideally be a great team player, have a site safety mind, be physically fit, punctual, and hardworking.

No prior work experience is required for this role but could be an advantage. Priority will be given to local NZ residents/citizens.

Job duties:

Loading and unloading tiling materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around building sites

Assist in setting up the job site and preparing the surface and layouts with the instruction of the tiler

Assisting to mix, pour, spread self-levelling screed, grout, and sealer and inserting spaces.

Assist with cutting and shaping tiles to the specification

Assist with laying wall and floor tiles

Cleaning the construction sites for the erection of structures and buildings

Assisting in setting up the job sites and preparing the layouts

Operating and caring for the construction tools, equipment and machines

Loading or unloading or moving construction materials, tools and equipment & heavy lifting around the building site

Helping erect and dismantle scaffolding and other site facilities

Following instructions from supervisors

• Permanent, full-time.
• 40-60 hours of work per week
• 5-6 days of work per week, you may be required to work on weekends.

In return, we will offer a competitive hourly rate – $27.76-$30/hr

Skills and qualifications:

• On-site job training will be provided, thereforeno previous work experience / qualification is required
• Be capable and willing to working across multiple sites
• Be energetic, highly motivated and thrive on working in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to details, and focus on high quality
