Who we need:
Reporting to the University Registrar, the Campus Registrar is responsible for managing and directing the Campus registration, records, graduation and student systems functions which includes providing strategic direction and consultation, ensuring overall performance and effectiveness of registration, record and related processes, data integrity, and services to support meeting department objectives, University strategic priorities and enrollment targets. The incumbent also provides guidance and direction to Academic, Administrative and Student Services departments on matters relating to records processes, procedures and policy issues that affect students.
The incumbent is responsible for leading the investigating, analyzing, planning, developing, implementing, and continuously enhancing the Campus Registrar Office’s services and functions including the development of procedures, system strategies, and services that support the achievement of strategic enrolment priorities and related targets.

What you will do:
– Provide leadership and strategic direction for all University registration and record services, functions and systems including but not limited to:
– Oversee and lead the Campus Registrars office and the procedures within the department.
– Develop and maintain registrarial/academic processes in collaboration with academic divisions.
– Manage university and regulatory policies while meeting the goals and objectives of the university’s strategic plan.
– Ensure integrity of applicant record, processing deadlines are met, and student communications are timely and effective.
– Manage the course add/drop periods each term for all students.
– Working closely with academic areas to identify and address registration issues.
– Student Records Management including the development and application of policies and procedures along with leading the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of student records
– Direct the planning and implementation of convocation ceremonies including communication protocols.
– Responsible for transfer credit procedures and processes.
– Works with the University Registrar to establish strategic goals, operational objectives and budgets to support the University’s and departmental plan
– Oversee the implementation of new policies, procedures and processes, many of which are interdependent and/or inter-related to those in other areas of the University
What you bring:
– Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required
– 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
– Demonstrated ability to apply technology to records, registration and reports
– Ability to collaborate with Deans, Directors and Chairs to achieve University goals
– Strong interpersonal, oral and communications skills
– Excellent systems and computer skills
– A strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail
– Demonstrated project management, organization and supervisory skills
– Strong customer service orientation
