This position is responsible for organizing calendars, making travel arrangements, preparing communications on behalf of the Director, coordinating responses, arranging logistics, providing assistance with the monitoring of contracts and contract deadlines, as well as managing expense reports, and other financial reporting for the branch. In addition, this position is responsible for preparing agendas and taking minutes at a variety of both internal and external meetings.

Essential Qualifications:

Post-Secondary certificate/ diploma in Office Administration, or related field of study
Recent experience providing a broad range of administrative support to the Director level, such as coordinating travel, managing calendars, taking minutes, proof-reading documents, and maintaining file/records management
Experience performing basic research, communications, and information to both internal and external clients and stakeholders
Experience completing financial tasks such as preparing expense claims, travel claims, cheque requisitions, and variance reporting
Experience monitoring and tracking contracts is considered an asset
