ZEISS Group Hiring for Operations Co-ordinator at Rugby Full Time

• To support the IQS aftermarket day to day operations with regards to logistics, support customs clearance, spare parts, stock management & facilities.
• Supporting the continued compliance and continuous improvement of tool and calibration support activities, acting as a Calibration Laboratory deputy.
• To coordinate and steer departments & team members to ensure adherence to quality management system

• Coordinate and control of all deliveries, goods receipt, stock transfers & dispatching of goods including operation of Fork lift when required. Ensuring all deliveries are recorded correctly on internal systems and informing the applicable contact.

• Support and coordinate all local facility maintenance, repairs, cleaning contract and adhoc requirements.

• Health and safety responsibility for the Rugby Stores and warehouse activities.

• Control and administration of COSHH systems for all IQS related activities, ensuring all applicable substances are recorded, stored correctly and have a valid COSHH assessment.

• Responsibility for ordering, monitoring and issuing Personal Protective Equipment, supplies and consumables linked to the IQS activities.

• Coordination and management of general equipment (pallet truck, lifting slings etc.), ensuring continued compliance.

• Responsibility for purchasing and control of tools / engineer equipment and other adhoc purchases related to the aftermarket. Liaising with departmental managers when required.

• Responsibility for spare part purchasing, issuing, and returns / liaising with the spare parts department when required.

• Day to day responsibility for IQS Rugby stock management for Rugby stores; including coordinating regular stock checks and the processing for spare parts

• To support and help drive adherence to ISO 9001 within IQS, and to work with department managers on improvement initiatives.

• Responsible for the day to day (operational) continued compliance of the calibrated equipment used by the calibration laboratory; ensuring equipment available for use is within calibration, coordinating with calibration suppliers and obtaining equipment from allocated engineers for calibration. Escalating to department Regional Service Manager (Operations) when required.

• Perform eN calculation for all calibration artefacts categories as “critical”, escalating non conformities and ensuring a suitable assessment is performed.

• Authorisation of all artefacts / calibrated equipment post calibration / purchase ensuring full compliance to internal process prior to release for use.

• Review and approval of calibration certificates generated by engineers and release to customers within 48 hours of receipt (when possible).

• Work together with applicable departmental managers to ensure continued compliance, customer satisfaction & improvement initiatives linked to the calibration manager system. Performing investigation and reviewing the impact of failures / calibration related issues.

• Perform periodic assessments of equipment calibration intervals.

• Support and drive overall calibration / awareness of importance and best practices within the wider IQS team.

• Support IQS internal departmental audits by CZ UK quality team.

• Provide cover for Regional Service Manager -Operations functions during periods of absence.
• Adhoc support to other departments as and when required.
