As a result of a recent internal promotion, we are now seeking a Head of People Services to join our fantastic global People Team. This role will be responsible for delivering outstanding, reliable, credible, efficient global people transactional & operational services. This will encompass great customer service covering the spectrum of standard human resource and employee related transactional services, people policy guidelines & processes excellence, rewards, benefits, global mobility, payroll services and advise and all HRIS (PeopleZone) services.

Based in Mt Maunganui, this position will work closely with the Head of Talent & People Experience, Head of Safety & Wellbeing, Head of People Business Partnering and Head of Internal Communications developing best practice people strategies, processes and guidelines that will support the business and its people to thrive and perform at a high level.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Head of People Services will be a key member of the People Lead Team level, contributing to the setting and delivering on the overall direction of the People Strategy to ensure that Zespri continues to evolve, innovate and lead the in the People arena, ensuring a winning culture and an environment where our people thrive.

This is an awesome opportunity for a driven individual to showcase their extensive generalist People/Global Payroll/Human Resource/Employee Relations/HRIS technology experience. You will be a successful People Leader and be motivated by building collaborative, trusting partnerships with executives and internal customers. You will also possess:

• An extensive working knowledge of HR-related shared service disciplines, functions, and HR operating models – global experience will be advantageous
• A thorough understanding of HR process excellence including how to effectively implement and operationalise processes in line with best practice standards
• Exposure to Rewards, Benefits and Global Mobility knowledge on a global scale across multiple geographies
• Experience customizing solutions, systems & processes that align to specific business/people priorities
• A curious and continuous improvement mindset in order to identify and solve people-related business challenges
• Be degree qualified (preferably in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or Business Management)
