Sustainable Packaging Specialist
Zespri has very ambitious sustainability targets. A number of activities identified to enable Zespri to achieve these targets are in the packaging space. This role will support the other members of the Packaging team, the Engineering Manager, the Packaging Technical Lead and the Sustainable Packaging Lead to deliver on these targets.
The predominant responsibility of the role is to develop Zespri’s understanding and quantification of our packaging footprint using Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) tools. It will include the following functions:
This role reports to the Packaging Technical Lead but will provide significant support to the Sustainable Packaging Lead in the Technical Team. The role will need to develop strong working relationships with a number of other people across the entire global network. In particular the role will have to engage with the Global Packaging Manager, the Global Innovation Manager, Innovation team and the Sustainability team.
