Position Summary:
Responsible for understanding current business processes, analyzing them to improve efficiency, productivity and to reduce costs. This includes documenting current state, creation of new processes, significant redesign of existing processes and recommending improvement options.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage multiple large efforts or lead significant workstream on strategic effort concurrently
Understand business environment and identify areas that may be candidates for process improvement
Define, implement and maintain business processes per documented standards
Mentor other process engineers on the tools, techniques, and practices of the discipline
Prioritize business process improvements to determine which ones will have the greatest impact on the business in short and longer term
Led peer reviews and provide feedback on improvement areas within the team and the practice
Management of stakeholder expectations, with a focus on overall deliverables and business benefit
Strong research and investigation skills, understanding how to assess current state, identify problems, root cause analysis and usage of metrics
Clear, concise articulation or information that may be disconnected into a recommendation
Ability to influence others to move towards a consensus on the best path forward, recognizing that there may never be full alignment
Strong time management, and ability to apply principals of project management (scope, schedule, risk, etc.)
Position Requirements:
College Degree required, or commensurate experience; Lean or Six Sigma Certification a plus
7+ years in a Lead role and/or on efforts of increasing size
Creative Problem Solving
Advanced Communication skills
Strong decision-making skills
Ability to synthesize a lot of information into clear, concise and consumable deliverables
Adaptability to changing business needs and conditions
Approach work with a sense of urgency
