Includesmotivating/managing sales team, challenging and collaborating with channelpartners and engaging customers. Responsible to meet / exceed the specificAnalytical product sales targets for the USLead and motivate ABB Sales Specialists to meet and exceed targets andproperly engage customers. Effectively manage the US Analytics sales funnel inSFDC (salesforce.com) to effectively create and track opportunitiesCollaborate with US Service team to ensure we are servicing our installed baseand creating opportunities from it. Provide monthly sales forecasting for theUS business including product and service salesManage marketing efforts for the US including trade show participation andmarketing spend to maximize benefit to customers and ABB. Evaluate themarketplace for trends and opportunities for our products and services andcreate a strategy based on potential and current situationParticipate in weekly/monthly cadence calls and quarterly reviews to reportand deliver on business plans, developmental efforts, opportunities andresults. Deliver “Voice of Customer” feedback to the PMU’s (ProductManufacturing Unit) and Product Management team to ensure our products andsolutions consistently have the best value proposition in the marketAct as a bridge between the factories and the industry and channel salesteams. Collaborate and align with Instrumentation Sales Manager to coordinatean effective go to market strategy and present a one ABB team to customersWork with Channel Management team to constantly evaluate and challenge our goto market strategy and ensure we have a strong and effective channel partnerstrategy. Support the LBU (Local Business Unit) FES (Front end sales)team core values. Safety & Integrity, Teamwork, Passion, Initiative,Resilience and Customer EmpathyYour backgroundBachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years’ experience in Sales, Channelpartners and distribution, preferably in Analytics Business; ORAssociate’s degree, preferably in a technical field, and 8years’experience in Sales, Channel partners and distribution, preferably inAnalytics Business; OR High Scholl diploma and 10 years’ experience inSales, Channel partners and distribution, preferably in Analytics Business.Open to travel about 50%Preferred Qualifications: Solid understanding of analytical technology andmarkets. Intense competitor knowledge; Passion for selling and winning.Ability to develop and implement structured sales processes and strategiesthat improve efficiency and lead to winning.
