Position Summary Details

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Stadium Floor Technician to complete assigned cleaning and maintenance of carpet and hard surface floors as well as floor care machine preventive maintenance. Full Time including weekends. A minimum of 3 years of floor care experience needed. Needs to know how to do maintenance on the M30 and T12 machines. Starting at $18/hour

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.

• Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Floor Care Tech Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.

• Moving furniture before and after cleaning.

• Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.

• Measuring chemicals correctly. Operating chemical dispensing units.

• Labeling chemicals correctly.

• Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.

• Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.

• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.

• Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor. Floor Tech Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of Floor maintenance experience needed.

• Needs to know how to do maintenance on the M30 and T12 machines.

Floor Tech Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of Floor maintenance experience needed.

• Needs to know how to do maintenance on the M30 and T12 machines.

• Completion of drug test.

• Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids, and communicable and infectious diseases.

• Resilient to noise.

• Physically agile.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
