ACES Waste Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for a transfer station sorter/yard person at the Buena Vista transfer station in Ione.

Applicants must possess the following:

Be able to lift 50 lbs.

Be able to tolerate hot/cold temperatures.

Be courteous, patient and able to work under pressure.

Be able to take and follow directions.

Good math skills. Prior cashiering experience helpful but not required.

Ability to learn safe operation a forklift, skip loader, and large front end loader when needed. Prior operating skills a plus.

Have valid CA Class C driver’s license. (submit DMV driving record)

Be able to read and write in English (bi-lingual abilities are a plus)

Available to work weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
