Job Title: Headteacher

Location: Baston House School, Bromley, Kent

Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 per annum dependent on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Baston House School is an independent day specialist provider of education in Bromley, Kent for children and young people aged from 5 to 19 years who have been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.

The aim of the school is to provide specialist individual support to each child, enabling them to reach their potential so they can live fulfilling and productive lives. We will provide the young people with as much freedom as possible while offering a safe and supervised environment. This is achievable due to the dedication and support from a range of employed professionals across the company who are passionate, reliable and understanding including dedicated education, care and clinical teams.

This is a great opportunity for a Headteacher who is looking to be an innovative, strategic leader. You will help design the curriculum and have autonomy to influence the School in the way you want to, ensuring it has the resources, staff and ability to inspire learning in academic SEN environments, for children with varied ASD needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be the custodian of our strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.
