Aerotek Hiring for Electrical – DAYS at Ruther Glen, VA Full Time

Description:

All levels will be performing installs of basic electrical equipment and systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.

• Running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe down to gear box
• Wiring 3 way switches
• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
• Installing and mounting electronic controls, device, panels, sensors, and components.
• Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices.
• Experience work with Electrical Distribution systems and wiring up 480V. Ability to install conduit, wireways, pull wiring/cables and terminating cables. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 or 4th year apprentice electrician (Do not have to be in an apprenticeship program//They can be in an Electrical helper role for the past 3 or 4 years)
• Will consider someone that has 2 full years of experience.

-Commercial xp – 15000-480 volts

• Experience bending and installing rigid 1.5 inch pipe
• Ability to perform some modifications as seen fit
• Experience wiring
