AHS is seeking a highly organized and customer service driven individual for the role of Employee Services Representative within our Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) team. The Administrative Support IV – Employee Services Representative will provide a full range of HR information, analyzing, investigating and problem solving to address a broad range of issues brought forward by employees, operational leaders or Human Resources Business Partnerships (HRBP). The individual will be fluent in organization policies and procedures, collective agreements and best practices to ensure that the most informed solutions are provided. The Employee Services Representative must have the ability to build and foster strong working relationships with various stakeholders internal to the organization as well as external third party providers, to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner. To be successful, you must demonstrate the ability to make decisions and provide advice and recommendations to complex problems but still have the ability and knowledge to escalate issues appropriately. As an Employee Services Representative, you must grasp and apply extensive knowledge of programs, processes and systems pertaining to the administration of payroll, human resources, pension, benefits and recruitment. This role requires you to work well under pressure in a high volume Contact Centre environment.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Completion of a HR Certificate will also be considered. At least 2+ years of extensive metrics-driven customer service experience, inbound Call Centre experience and problem solving skills are required A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Experience in Microsoft Office package – the incumbent may be required to complete and pass a Microsoft Office skills assessment. Ability to type at least 50 words per minute – the incumbent will be required to complete and pass a typing assessment. Fluent in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with PeopleSoft. A minimum of 1 years’ experience in the last 5 years working in Shared Services, Human Resources, Payroll or Benefits.
