Do you have a flair for decor, excellent attention to detail, and are a motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for customer service? Do we have the role for you! This is a permanent opportunity for a well-organized person who has experience working in a showroom. You will assist with the sales process and oversee and manage the daily operations of a showroom. Our client is a professional e-commerce business that buys stylish, high-quality interior and exterior furniture, decor items, premium BBQs, and sports gear in bulk so that their customers get huge savings!

This is a part-time role, and the showroom will be open 10:00 am -4:00 pm Tuesday to Saturday. You will need to work Tuesdays to Fridays with the occasional Saturday. This role is based in Panmure.

Although you will be in sole charge, the showroom is attached to the head office and warehouse and you will be well supported by all the teams.

The Role, In a Nutshell

• Meeting and greeting customers as they enter the showroom to make them feel welcome
• Arranging stock in a visually appealing manner allows ease of movement for customers
• Taking pride in the appearance of the showroom and stock
• Sharing your in-depth product knowledge
• Training and managing additional showroom staff and/or temporary staff hired to assist with peak season/sales
• Create and maintain showroom signage to ensure all products are clearly labeled with accurate information and pricing
• Investigate and solve any customer issues as quickly as possible.
• Encourage sign-up, buying online, or purchase from the showroom (allocated cash and carry/samples/seconds items only if from the floor)

To Be Successful In The Role

• Prior experience as a showroom/retail store manager
• Experience selling comparable products and customer service
• Ability to design and create spaces that are engaging and welcoming
• Capacity to convince stubborn and indecisive clients to make purchases
• Outstanding teamwork, communication, and arbitration abilities
