Contracts Manager (Public Safety Team) | Remote with Restrictions to DC, MD and VA | 125k – 145k/yr | 6-Month Contract-to-hire
Job Description
Provide hybrid (in-person/work from home) advice to business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. Initiate, track and monitor contract changes, deliverables, correspondence, and risks, and maintain associated documentation. This role includes but is not limited to the following: Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions. Identify risks and issues, suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution. Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties and provide continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met. Prepare and disseminate information regarding proposals, contract status, compliance, modifications, etc. Manage the contract day-to-day by advising on the strategic direction, contract interpretation and consequences of action/inaction. Proactively resolve issues and disputes, minimize potential for litigation, and foster protection of reputation. Act as a liaison between the client, project team and/or business unit and Legal ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed. Responsible for implementation of CM processes. Act as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly. Act as liaison between clients/vendors. Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance. Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes for the engagement. Achieve a reasonable level of understanding of major business areas (System Integration and/or Outsourcing) in order to communicate effectively with project Sr. Executives and provide relevant advice. May provide training to Contract Management or program personnel.
Hard Skills
Experience with Civilian agencies: DHS, DOS, DOJ, DOE
Cradle-to-grave contracts experience

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Chantilly, Virginia and some days remote.
Work Environment
Once a month in their Herndon office and once a quarter in Arlington
