He angitūtanga: The opportunity
This role is a permanent part-time position, offering 7 hours per week initially based at Devonport Library with flexibility to work across our local board as necessary.
Our library is open 7 days so there is a requirement to work a combination of weekdays & weekends.
In this busy role you will be supporting our team in the smooth running of the library by making sure all resources are correctly shelved and presented to our high standard. You will also respond to our customers’ queries in a friendly and approachable manner as well as making accurate referrals.

If you have a positive attitude, a good standard of literacy and numeracy and a keen sense of detail, then this could be a great opportunity for you! Physical fitness and stamina are essential, as you will be on your feet most of the time and will be required to move heavy items.
