Austcorp Executive Looking for Senior Payroll Officer at Auckland Full Time

They are experiencing growth and as a result they are expanding their Payroll team and require a Senior Payroll Officer with remediation experience to  monitor a project in the first months of joining, then moving into a business-as-usual position facilitating payroll functions.

Job Requirements:

• Take ownership of remediation project and ensure compliance measures are adhered to
• Setting up new employees
• Process payroll and transactions, leave and Kiwi saver
• Resolve payroll queries
• Undertake auditing tasks for compliance purposes
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of payroll run to timesheets
• Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
• Report to the Payroll Manager, NZ

  
All About You:

• Past experience in payroll activities required
• Experience managing remediation and compliance projects is essential
• Competency in Microsoft Office programs and payroll software such as SAP, CHRIS21, Kronos, Greentree, Xero or similar
• Exposure to time and attendance systems
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, awards and agreements
• Compliance orientated
• Have initiative and responsibility for the role
