Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and autonomous People Experience Specialist who will be at the core of all UK people operations, both from a functional and operational perspective.
This is one of our main locations where you can find a wide range of strategic and technical teams, so you will get to experience a large variety of work. Alongside the UK population, you will also get the opportunity to work across some of our smaller locations.

You will work as part of a Global People Experience team and you will collaborate closely with cross-departmental teams, such as People Admin, Payroll, Benefits, People Business Partnering, while also being able to work collaboratively with team members to deliver key projects across the business.
What you will do:
- Be the first point of contact for all UK population queries (approximately 200 people), which ranges from new starters to managers and leaders
- Work in partnership with People Business Partners to advise on key UK matters. This includes ER cases, performance management, employment law approach, regional best practice, salary reviews & promotions, Rewards, support
- Act as the People Business Partner for the junior management team across your location. This includes providing support across how to equip their teams for success, how to provide feedback, learning and development, performance management, personal development, advice on policies and internal regulations, onboarding new team members and offboarding
- Coordinate with the People Admin team to deliver the best employee experience throughout the full employee lifecycle (onboarding – employee engagement – offboarding)
- Work in collaboration with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Manage the UK benefits offering, including liaising with 3rd party providers and owning the full end to end internal process
- Work on ad-hoc projects with colleagues across the People & Culture department, such as re – engineering current processes or introducing new initiatives
- Advise on UK specific documentation, such as employment contracts, amendments, letters. For any complex situations you will of course have the support of our Internal Legal team
- Manage the Visa and relocation process
- Ensure compliance across the region and keep yourself updated on any changes and ways of working
- Act as the main point of contact across the business for issues relating to your population
- Replicate all UK activities for some of our smaller locations. Even though the headcount might be significantly smaller, they are equally as important for the overall success of the business
- Collaborate with external advisors on any complex out of scope issues and drive the delivery of agreed results
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of UK employment law with a focus on ER cases (including but not limited to PIPs, grievances, disciplinaries, redundancies etc)
- Ability to adjust your pace and delivery accordingly. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, so you have to be open to progress through waves of change as they happen
- Best practice knowledge of UK operational activities (e.g. payroll, right to work checks, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, pension, health & safety etc). In some instances, the internal teams will own the delivery, but they will require your advice and help with any out of scope & region-specific issues
- Demonstrable experience with managing stakeholders
- Business acumen to deliver on specific agreements, such as Settlement Agreements, either autonomously or with support for our internal Legal team
- Experience on at least 2 other EMEA locations. We don’t expect PX Specialists to be experts across other regions, but you should be able to demonstrate willingness to learn
- Demonstrable experience of delivering tailored HR solutions over the entire employee lifecycle
- Experience using best practices and upholding compliance across the board
- Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple priorities at the same time
- Ability to work across multiple teams and establish yourself as a valuable team member
- Ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues across multiple locations and cultures. Our teams a global and very diverse, so you will be interacting with different cultures day to day
