Axia Group Hiring for Library Specialist at California Full Time

The Library Specialist is a full time non-exempt position. This person will be responsible for all aspects of the enrichment curriculum and assets being returned to or checked out from the Library. The Librarian is responsible for fulfilling all orders placed by parents for curriculum and enrichment items. The Library Specialist works to manage all aspects of the school’s library inventory and order fulfillment services for schools contracted with The Axia Group. Moderate travel is required. You will travel to a variety of locations within a School’s county of operation using a School’s library van. This position is located in the Central Valley- Fresno Ca, Area.

Desired Qualifications:
2 years of experience in inventory or retail processes

3 years of experience in customer service

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Drive, and Student Information System

Able to lift and move items up to 45+ Lbs

Valid California Driver’s License / Clean driving record

Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor, prepare, and complete orders for delivery, pickup, and route distribution (loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping)

Receive and process orders through an online software program

Perform weekly inventory checks, stock updates, and audits

Maintaining and enhancing the presentation and look of the library

Work collaboratively with school officials and Axia Group management to provide solutions for any problem or issue related to Library services

Travel up to 30% of the time to multiple site locations throughout a schools county of operation

Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize workspace where needed
