Bardel Entertainment Looking for Online Editor at Vancouver, BC Full Time

We are currently recruiting for an Online Editor. The Online Editor will assist the Post Supervisor in Managing the post-production pipeline of multiple projects and ensuring day-to-day activities of the post department run smoothly.

What you will be doing:
Conforms final picture in Resolve / Avid

Takes care of any color grading needs.

Does an Internal QC check of picture and Audio.

Responsible for creating End Credits from provided documents.

Creates all master deliveries based on provided technical specs.

Create screeners for client production as needed.

Run screening with Director / Production as needed

Conform Final Picture in Resolve.

Export / Transcode files as per Online Editors needs.

Cut in updated shots as needed.

Assist Production editors as needed

Assist Online editor as needed.

Run screening with Director / Production as needed

Cover for Online editor for sick/vacation.

Manage and communicate status to the internal project team and ensure that issues and risks are properly identified, considered, escalated, and resolved.

What you bring with you:
2– 4 years of post-production experience in an agency or post-production studio environment

Solid Experience in Avid Media Composer a must

Animation or VFX experience an asset

Knowledge of Premier, Protools and Resolve preferred.

A strong leader and a team player who understands how to work effectively in a fast paced, evolving industry

Strong client communication skills

Exhibit an enthusiastic attitude, willingness to learn and advance in the editorial field

Ability to organize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
