The Community and Regional Fundraising Team are a national team with a local footprint. Working closely with individuals and community organisations, we engage new and existing support to raise vital funds for vulnerable children. From individual fundraisers to mass products and events, we ensure every Barnardo’s supporter has a fundraising experience like no other.
At Barnardo’s, we think it’s incredible to see children helping children, by raising funds for friends, siblings and classmates that might be more vulnerable than themselves. As Community and Regional Manager for Education and Youth, you will build a long-term, sustainable plan to significantly grow this income stream, from Pre-school audiences all the way up to University. You will:
- Manage a robust pipeline of Education contacts, using targeted acquisition to identify and attract new support
- Deliver first class stewardship and supporter care to nurture long term relationships and maximise retention
- Use insight and reporting to highlight key opportunities and develop audience-led fundraising products and activities
We are looking for an experienced and innovative fundraiser to join our team at an exciting time of growth, and help shape the future Community and Regional Fundraising portfolio. You’ll be data driven and proactive in your approach to acquisition, with experience building and managing a robust pipeline of contacts. You’ll also have experience of product and proposition development, using your creativity to strengthen our portfolio of products and events, including The Big Toddle Event.
