Best Western Plus Agate Beach Inn Hiring for Hostess/ Host at Newport, OR Full Time

Looking for an dinner hostess. The shift is 4-10pm. Room to advance and train to other positions

Serves as first point of contact to restaurant patrons by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Sets up side station and performs assigned side work.

• Greets restaurant patrons immediately upon arrival.

• Assist guest to table; provides menus, fresh sheets, and wine list.

• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the area of the podium and station.

• Assist with food and beverage service as required

• Assist with table setting and clearing as needed.

• Answers telephone; responds to inquiries and handles guest reservations

• Takes and inputs room service and to go orders

• Maintains the reservation tablet

• Must know the seating chart

• Advises management of customer complaints in a timely manner.

• Performs assigned clean up and closing duties.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
