Data Enter/Proofreading Specialist

Salary: $22.60 per/hr.

Job-Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm, paid 30-minute lunch included

Role Summary

Blue Mound Graphics is seeking a Data Enter/Proofreader who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about their work. They can act as part of a team and individually to accomplish goals. This person will be able to interact in a positive and helpful manner with our customers. They will also perform data entry and filing with great attention to detail to ensure information stays accurate and organized. As a valued member of our team this individual is required to proofread all documents for accuracy before delivery to our customers.

Qualifications

• Professional proficient in Spanish, oral and written is a must
• Data-entry skills: ability to work with accuracy and speed
• Writing, editing, and familiarity with editorial style manuals. If there is a mistake, you will catch it
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Time management ability and attention to detail
• Customer service experience
• Associates degree preferred

Responsibilities:

• Transfer data from paper formats to computer files or database systems
• Enter data provided directly from customers
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Update existing information
• Retrieve data from the databases or electronic files
• Sort and organize paperwork
• Receive and prepare copy for customers by performing quality checks for accuracy of content
• Work proactively to solve problems both independently and as part of a team
• Investigate and resolve errors
• Manage and respond promptly to incoming calls, emails, and faxes
• Write business correspondence for customers and Blue Mound Graphics
• Build rapport with existing/new customers and team members
• Maintain discretion with customers and company’s information
• Answer and make phone calls in a professional manner
• Follow company procedures
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Perform any other duties as assigned
