The Training Services, Training Development Team are looking to hire experienced Learning and Content Management System (LCMS) Administrators to join us in providing specialist courseware design and development services in support of our Defence portfolio of Boeing platforms and services.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Training Design and Development Manager our LCMS Administrators are responsible for:
LCMS system configuration, managing system parameters, developing system workflows as well as the application, training and roll out of system upgrades from the vendor to users.
Creating, managing and administering LCMS system domains (project areas) within the LCMS including enrolling users, adding content to courses and exporting course reports.
Managing the digital repository, importing/exporting content, creating and managing sample templates, sharing and managing material between domains and bulk upload of assets into the LCMS.
Contributing to the analysis and evaluation of customer technical training LCMS needs to determine appropriate system methodologies and establishing the LCMS aspects of the training design and development projects.
Gathering data to support with proposals and assisting with the preparation and presentation of reports regarding the development, implementation and evaluation of training projects and curricula.
Discovering new opportunities and solutions for problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking to determine new editorial strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional systems design, development and delivery for internal and external customers.

The Person:
We would expect the successful candidate to have demonstrable experience as an LCMS administrator including:
Minimum of three years’ experience in an LCMS administration or equivalent role.
Basic coding skills including HTML, Java, CSS and MS Office templates.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills to be able to complete tasks accurately and on time.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including remotely.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Virtual/remote working is available but periodic attendance at either a Boeing or customer site may be required from time to time for which company travel and subsistence will be provided.
