Brivo is looking for a highly creative, passionate, and skilled Front End Engineer to design and develop new web services for a global security system serving millions of users. You will also be expected to:

• Spend 80-90% of your time writing code
• Building efficient, reusable well-designed and high-quality front-end systems using React.js
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Designing highly responsive web-based user interfaces
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries
• Debugging& optimizing code to enable maximum performance across devices and browsers
• Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
• Work within an Agile team to complete code reviews, sprint planning, and backlog grooming

About You

• 1+ years development experience with front-end technologies and frameworks such as ReactJS, TypeScript,& HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with MaterialUI, Component Design, and architecting modern enterprise web applications
• Experience with building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs, as well as websocket communication
• Strong communication skills in a team-centric environment and ability to work effectively within a distributed team

Preferred Skills

• Additional experience with serverless technologies including AWS Lambda, NodeJS, and the serverless framework
• Experience with User Interface Design
• Experience with various testing frameworks such as Jest
• Strong Troubleshooting skills
• WCAG accessibility experience
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, Yarn, etc.
