Brown Distributing Company, Inc. Hiring for Merchandiser Assistant at Richmond, Virginia Full Time

We are looking for a motivated and highly energetic Merchandiser Assistant to join our Merchandising team!

Schedule:

5 days a week and start time is no later than 6 AM until the route is complete.

You will be required to work every other weekend (either a Saturday or Sunday), with that Wednesday off.

Compensation:

$19/hour

Vehicle Allowance of $550/month

Cell Phone Allowance of $15/month

The ideal candidate must be willing to work independently in a designated area by servicing our customers within the grocery store industry. This candidate will make certain our customers’ beverage sections (warm and cold) are fully stocked, appropriately rotated, and looking exceptional with Brown Distributing’s beverages. You will have access to our customers’ receiving/warehouse department in order to move product from the warehouse into the store – therefore, we are in need of someone that is comfortable dealing with different weather environments and communicating with diverse individuals.

Other duties include:

• Creating and stocking beverage displays on the floor.

• Installing point of sale signage.

• Assisting the sales department with sales promotion activities within the store.

• Turning product labels so that all labels are facing the consumer’s eye.

• Your own transportation to drive from grocery store to grocery store.

• A valid Virginia driver’s license with no negative points, no DUI convictions, no speeding tickets in the last 3 years.

• Ability to maintain a great relationship with our customers’, and be able to communicate effectively and comfortably.

• Ability to lift 45 lbs. or more repetitively (Since stocking will be your main responsibility).

• A flexible schedule: Start time is no later than 6 a.m.
