KNOW THE ROLE
Our Multichannel Department are looking for an experienced Online Concessions Merchandiser to join their team. Our Head Office in South Anne Street is a hub of creativity, style and innovation. Having an open plan space makes it easy to share ideas and be inspired daily.
This role will be focused on developing and driving the Concessions business. This position will oversee all commercial functions related to the planning, development and delivery of the Brown Thomas and Arnotts Concession partners across both .coms. Key to our business is delivering and maintaining a strong concessions presence on both eCommerce storefronts, as well as planning all sales and marketing activities required to provide a full Omni-channel experience to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have a retail background and the ability to be flexible and action-oriented in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience in driving brands online. Responsibilities include:
Development of a robust commercial concession campaign plan per partner; including offers & promotions against sales projections and communicating performance metrics to maximize all concession(s) brand/products and support key pillars of the business
Merchandising brand pages to maximise trade and managing new product offerings
Working with the Division Leads to plan and execute month-to-month campaign(s) effectively
Support the Division Leads in managing daily execution of marketing plan including site creative development, content updates, promotions setup and email campaigns
Working with the Web Operations Team to manage overall inventory, ensuring the accuracy of product information, price, images, and categorisation
Working with Warehousing, Stores Teams and closely with Dropship Partners on order completion
Working with all stakeholders ensuring accurate, efficient and appropriate stock levels to support growing trade
Ensure, where appropriate, the partners’ top products and promotional offers are mirrored on the web store
Develop and maintaining effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders most notably Store Operations, Customer Service, Warehousing, Marketing, Sustainability and Creative teams in order to ensure 360 visibility of the digital concession offering and drive optimum concession performance for the Brown Thomas and Arnotts businesses
Supports the Online Concessions Manager with the launch projects for new concessions with particular input on commercial opportunities such as range and stock depth
Key point of contact for our Luxury Boutiques, responsible for building strong relationships to ensure premium product offering and service that reflects our in-store offering
KNOW WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
3 years’ e-commerce experience
Excels in a fast-paced environment, adapts easily to the changing retail environment and knows how to drive a structured agile process with the ability to lead a team
Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends
Flexibility to work in rapidly changing environment (online team) within a larger corporation
Ability to take initiative with a positive, “problem-solving” attitude
Ability to multitask and ensure flawless execution with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Commercially focused
Leadership and influencing skills & project management skills
Strong analytical skills and fact based orientation in decision making
Strong knowledge of latest online technologies, industry and competitive landscape
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams
