SUMMARY:

Internal Job Title: Buyer Assistant

The purpose of the Data Entry Clerk is to perform a variety of routine purchasing support data entry functions requiring basic knowledge of Purchasing/Procurement and ERP Systems.

Ideal Candidate:

Will have previous experience working in a purchasing team and is driven to succeed with high standards of integrity and a team player mentality.

Requirements:

• Excellent data entry, Microsoft office, typing and 10 key skills
• Familiar with basic purchasing software: ERP systems
• Computer literate with the ability to learn new software programs
• Must display and work with a sense of urgency
• Strong attention to detail, along with organizational and follow-up skills
• Resourceful and self-motivated – able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Basic math skills

Job Duties:

• Creating and maintaining purchase orders in ERP software
• Calling on vendors to confirm ETA’s
• Scanning and maintaining purchase orders in shared folder
• Performs other purchasing/procurement duties as assigned
