About the role

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular Part-Time Clerk to join our dynamic Quality and regulatory affairs Team in Brampton. In this role, you will provide clerical support to the Quality Assurance unit in accordance with all regulatory requirements and Canadian Blood Services policies, procedures and practices.

Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring current, approved documents, forms and labels are available for department use

Performing data entry of various data/information, such as document information, Quality Control data, non-conformance reports

Creating and/or maintaining databases, tracking systems for documents or other information/data

Creating and /or maintaining filing systems for controlled documents, protocols, non-conformance reports, change requests

Receiving, inspecting and obtaining applicable records/documents for controlled forms and labels and other critical supplies, as required

Assisting in providing training on all aspects of the QA Clerk position, as required

Performs other duties as required

Education, Training and Experience:
Post-secondary level education, preferably in a related field

Minimum of one-year related office experience, preferably in a regulated environment

At least one year of experience dealing with documents and filing systems, preferably in a regulated environment

Ability to follow work instructions precisely and with a high attention to detail

Computer literacy is essential, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of SAP is an asset

Ability to take direction from numerous people and work in a team environment

Strong customer service skills
