Canadian Down & Feather Company is looking for an Administrative Assistant to help us ensure that our clients have a great purchase experience and get their dream products in good time.

Canadian Down & Feather Company is a Canadian manufacturer of down, feather, and down alternative bedding products. We sell top-quality duvets, pillows, and mattress toppers through our online store and to national and independent retailers, hotels, and interior design professionals.

As the Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for administrative tasks in the shipping and receiving department, such as:

  • digital order processing
  • efficient and accurate data entry
  • printing, sorting, and organizing shipping documents
  • scheduling and booking carrier pick ups
  • preparing customs documents and export declarations
  • inter-departmental communications regarding incoming and outgoing shipments
  • ordering supplies and ensuring adequate stock
  • perform inventory cycle counts
  • receiving incoming goods and supplies
  • maintaining detailed work instructions for above processes
  • other administrative tasks as required

You’ll also be supporting the department in other areas, including:

  • picking and packing orders
  • stocking shelves
  • health & safety initiatives

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in a fast-paced environment
  • good understanding of digital commerce
  • strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software
  • advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • a high degree of professionalism and a positive attitude
  • the drive to complete work independently to a high standard
  • the ability to work in a fast-paced, active environment for long periods of time. This role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Location: 135 St. Regis Crescent South (TTC accessible)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with occasional evenings and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
