Carroll College, a private, Catholic liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Registrar?s Office for a half-time, year-round position that is essential to the daily operations of the office. This position serves as the first point of contact for most customers by providing service to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the public. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the office runs smoothly on a daily basis and for supporting the work of the mid- and senior-level Registrar?s Office staff. Primary duties include responding to email, answering phones, front counter service, processing registrations, posting transfer credit, entering data, and researching historical information. The Administrative Assistant is also responsible for assisting with the graduation process, including processing graduation applications, coordination graduation event details, and preparing diplomas. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, and at least two years of experience working in an office setting. Essential to this position are strong organizational, communication, and technical skills, including a readiness to learn computer software systems that will be necessary to accomplish everyday job duties. Other important qualities include attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information, ability to complete several tasks simultaneously, and a commitment to working both independently and as part of a team.
