Req ID: 85589 Region: Americas Country: USA State/Province: New Hampshire City: Remote Employee US The Manager, IT Business Partner is a people-focused IT leader that provides technical and business guidance to the Engineering and Quality functional areas within Celestica that also links back to the manufacturing and operations portfolio. The candidate is the business relationship partner of these functional areas, working with various stakeholders to define and manage their priorities to support the strategic roadmap. The incumbent will assist in prioritization of these projects on a regional basis, ensure they are aligned to strategic objectives, technology principles, corporate policy and compliance and that the investment delivers the maximum benefit to Celestica. Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: + Builds close relationships with the functional areas to understand what IT capabilities they need to innovate, grow, improve efficiencies, or address compliance requirements + Assists Senior Manager/Director and stakeholders with regards to enabling technology, process simplification, risk and opportunities within the roadmap and project scope. + Assists Senior Manager/Director segments of functional area roadmaps to address a portfolio of projects. Accountable for the completion of key project deliverables in collaboration with IT Project Management Office, other IT teams, functional teams (engineering, quality, operations, etc.) and, where necessary, with customer teams and vendors + Working with various IT teams to Identify Research current technology and its function within the enterprise and apply specialized technical knowledge to improve business processes + Analyse and evaluate present and proposed business procedures or problems to define needs for improved processes/systems; prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams to improve processes + Participate in hardware and software evaluations and prepare readouts + Participate and support DFMEA Process reviews Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: + Experienced at requirements gathering and documentation (Design Thinking experience is a plus) + Process Mapping (Value Stream Mapping experience is a plus) + UX Experience would be advantageous + Experienced in managing and delivering projects + Knowledge in Electronics Manufacturing and Operations + Understanding of functional areas such as engineering, quality. Supply Chain etc + Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Architecture is a plus + Relationship, stakeholder management and facilitation Skills + Strong leadership skills and customer focused orientation with the ability to motivate people + Self motivated, organized and able to meet deadlines + Experience in project financial and vendor/stakeholder reporting + Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with various levels in an organization + Demonstrates high levels of technical knowledge, ingenuity and creativity. + An excellent grasp of engineering and quality principles + An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods + Ability to plan and organize through several project stages + Support design review and contribute to achievement of Engineering Milestones as well as Customer Program Milestones + Quality control of work by appropriate reviews Physical Demands: + Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment. + Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. + Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required. + Business travel between 30-60% Experience: + Minimum of 5 years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of higher education and experience. + Exposure to IT tools and methods through projects + Acts as a liaison between Celestica’s functional areas and the technology team throughout multiple project lifecycles Education: + Bachelors Degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Manufacturing or Engineering. Location: This is a Remote position, with travel as necessary.
