Description
The Senior Analyst of Non-Financial Risk Management Methodology & Framework (NFRM M&F) is responsible for assisting in the design, operationalization, and advancement of Citizens NFRM methodologies, with a principal focus on the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program. In addition to supporting the normal operations and reporting on the RCSA program, there is a demand to ensure that the RCSA program is continuously optimized to deliver accurate, timely, and efficient reporting to promote risk-informed management decisions. The role will require extensive interaction with front-line risk and second line of defense partners to implement methodology enhancements, analyze RCSA data to identify trends/insights, align to relevant regulatory expectations, and ensure the program meets Citizens’ business and risk management needs.
In addition, the Senior Analyst will support other programs across the NFRM M&F portfolio as needed, including but not limited to: Issues Management, Change Management, Material Risk Identification (MRI), Risk Appetite & Metrics, and Reporting.
Specifically, this role will be responsible for:
RCSA Framework : maintaining, maturing, and optimizing the RCSA methodology.
Stakeholder Communication : developing and delivering communications, training, and outreach to ensure impacted stakeholders have awareness of – and have opportunities to provide feedback on – program changes
Tools : coordinating with technology partners to identify, implement, test, and launch updates to Governance Risk Control (GRC) applications and other program tools
Reporting : coordinating with reporting and oversight teams to produce bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for management and governance bodies
Special Projects : assisting in ad-hoc projects within NFRM M&F team
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience within the banking industry, risk consulting, financial services, and/or regulatory agency
Familiarity with banking operational risk management processes and components (inherent/residual risk, controls, control testing, etc.)
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with GRC tools is desired but not required
Analytical capabilities to ensure that proposals are data-driven/supported
Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to build relationships, facilitate discussions, and diplomatically build consensus across diverse audiences/viewpoints
Excellent communication skills and experience producing high-quality materials for management consumption
Inquisitiveness, including an ability to ask exploratory questions to draw out information and probe/challenge people to ensure the input is well-supported

Hours and Work Schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 remote
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
