About The Role

Commercial & Procurement Coordinator is a newly developed role that will provide support to the wider Procurement and Contracts team, act as the first port-of-call for the Authority’s procurement queries, and have the opportunity to gain experience and exposure to procurement, purchasing and contracting across a diverse range of areas.

This role will support and maintain our existing processes and systems in addition to health safety and wellbeing initiatives, reporting and data collection and contribute to commercial projects as required.

The salary band for this position goes from $62,342 to $86,365 with a mid-range being $71,539. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role and relativities across the organisation.

• Self-motivated and hands-on
• Understanding and awareness of machinery of government and procurement
• Ability to read, understand, interpret, and analyse complex documents, including legislation, financial, numerical, and business information.
• Experience of working with All-of-Government panels is desirable.
