Job Description

The Business Process Analyst focuses on adjusting current business processes to the new financial management system environment. The Contractor shall assist the Government in managing and overseeing BPR efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Collect data about OCC’s operations, architecture, and processes.

  • Make recommendations to improve OCC’s systems and processes.

  • Assists the EA’s with analysis and documentation.

  • Coordinates the scheduling of architectural interviews and documents interview details.

  • Conducts meetings with business areas to capture architectural information.

  • Lead and facilitate process workshops and document any information elicited using process maps and business requirements documents.

  • Assist the client and team in documenting procedures and present new process designs to stakeholders for discussion.

  • Provide advice and support to the JPMO on managing the implementation of business process changes.

  • Educate management officials impacted by the change in business processes.

  • Monitor, measure, and provide feedback on process performance.

  • May supervise others.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen able to pass a government level background check and obtain a Public Trust.

  • Bacelor’s degree with 8-11 years of experience

  • 5 years of project management experience

  • Experience conducting organizational studies and evaluations, design of systems and procedures, performed work simplification and measurement studies, and preparation of operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.

  • Has provided technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.

  • Prior experience establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives.

  • Has demonstrated domain and expert technical knowledge.

  • Proven ability to direct and control activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.

  • Experience with interactions involving client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.

  • ITIL Foundation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree

  • Over 12 years of experience

  • ITIL Intermediate Certified

  • PMP Certified
