Job Description

We are looking for an AR Specialist to be a representative for our Premier Agent business. Our ideal candidate is comfortable managing communications regarding: account status, payment history and payment card inquiries. The AR Specialist is also responsible for the application of cash against outstanding invoices and the clearing of all AR transactions.

Follow-up on past due balances and payment card disputes

In an effort to reduce customer churn, negotiate payment plans and discounts

Resolve customer over/short payments and process customer refunds

Meet or exceed call center SLAs

Perform manual application of AR transactions

Manage 3rd party collection agency’s requests and performance

Special projects as needed

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with required years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
