The Coventry University Group has a reputation for excellence in teaching and learning. Our Office for Teaching and Learning (OTL) is responsible for education strategy, best practice in teaching and educational innovation and supports all our educational entities in these vital areas. OTL delivers modules and programmes across the group directly to staff and students. The OTL comprises several units, each with responsibility for a specific including curriculum development, and we are looking for an Academic Developer to join the Curriculum Development team.
Based within the Academic Enhancement and Professional Development (AEPD) of OTL and reporting to the Lead for Curriculum Development the role-holder will work within a small sub-team to deliver support for academic staff across the University Group with the design and implementation of effective, contemporary curricula.
The team and the wider OTL will have a group wide remit to deliver both proactive and reactive interventions to support excellence in teaching across the Group, lead and support professional standards in teaching and drive forwards effective and inclusive curriculum design. OTL, collectively, will take a lead role in developing solutions to support key educational priorities including equity and inclusivity, assessment, teaching quality, student continuation and graduate outcomes across the Group.
If you have passion and drive for teaching and learning, have a track record of excellence in academic development or curriculum development, a record of delivering proactive solutions and intervention to teaching practice and in curriculum design and have the ambition and drive to work across a group of educational entities we would like to hear from you.
