FLSA STATUS: Exempt
WORK SCHEDULE: M-F, either 8-4:30, or 9-5:30pm, MST; may need to flex times due to business needs
LOCATION: This position can either be in Boise, or remote for the right candidate
COMPENSATION: Base salary plus performance incentive bonus; earn between $2,700 – $3,500 per month with great opportunity for career advancement

JOB SUMMARY:
Our Direct to Consumer (DTC) team is growing and we’re looking for additional support to handle the demand for our insurance products! The Account Representative role is a relatively new position for Covr, and a great stepping-stone to learn the industry and prepare to become a licensed agent.
This role’s primary responsibility is to support our Agents by handling over-flow calls and following-up on leads from members from our partner companies. The ADR will provide warm transfers to our agents as well as schedule future appointments.
This position is a combination of sales & service and is a critical function to our sales success. With heavy call volume with our valued leads, there is high visibility and opportunity for growth.
General life insurance knowledge and ability to learn internal CRM and quoting tools is expected.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handling call over-flow from telephone queue
Determining best call direction for members
Transferring calls to agents and setting appointments for call-backs
Outbound calling campaigns on Members that got off-track with process
Re-harvesting business to alternative sales paths, as needed
Coordinating medical Exam follow-ups and assisting with case management tasks, as needed
Helping with other duties and projects as assigned
Expect to handle 100+ calls day and create 15+ new appointments
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Heavy sales/customer service experience via phone a plus
Experience with insurance a plus
Familiarity and expertise using multiple computer platforms
Ability to get licensed
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to build phone-based relationships
Expertise with both in-bound and out-bound calling
Demonstrated ability to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environmen
Strong organizational and time management skills; must be computer savvy and able to navigate multiple systems
Must be a self-starter and ability to learn independently through experience
Strong work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountability
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Comfortable with routine, repetitive tasks
Ability to articulate message quickly and effectively over the phone
Drive, desire and will to grow and succeed
